Use the Destiny Discover Web App

The Destiny Discover web app gives you an additional entryway to Destiny Discover. Once you log in, it provides the same experience as when you access Destiny Discover directly from a browser.

Set up the Destiny Discover web app – iOS, Mac and Windows users

To set up the Destiny Discover web app experience, you need to get the app from your device's app store, and then create a bookmark on your device's home screen.

1. Launch the Destiny Discover app. The following screen appears:
   
   

   Note: The instructions for this screen vary based on your device.

2. Follow the "Bookmark Destiny Discover" instructions to bookmark Destiny Discover on your device's home screen. The web app icon looks like this:
   
3. Delete the old version of the app, which looks like this:
   

Once you set up the Destiny Discover web app, you will no longer have to apply updates from your device's app store.

Set up the Destiny Discover web app – Android and Chromebook (Chrome OS) users

The Destiny Discover app is available from Google Play and the Chrome Web Store.

When you launch the app, if you do not have the latest version, you might see instructions on how to bookmark it to your device's home screen. Follow the instructions, or update the app.

Log in to the Destiny Discover web app – all users

Once you log in to the Destiny Discover web app, you will remain logged in until you log out.

To log in:

1. Use the Location drop-down to select your state or province.
2. In the School field, type the first few letters of your school’s name. When your school appears in the suggestions, select it.
   

   Note: Steps 1 and 2 only need to be completed the first time you log in, or if you need to select a different school. If you are being prompted to log in on subsequent launches, you might not have the correct version of the app. See Set up the Destiny Discover web app - iOS, Mac and Windows users or Set up the Destiny Disocver web app - Android and Chromebook (Chrome OS) users. .

3. To log in with a username and password, tap Log In.
   

   Note: You can browse the Catalog by clicking Browse as Guest.

4. On the next screen, type your Username and Password, and then tap Submit.
