Set up the Engage homepage

If you have a subscription to Destiny Engage, students can access features that support their reading journey when they open Engage.

Notes: This feature requires a subscription to Destiny Engage. For more information about setting up the Destiny Discover homepage, click here. To learn how to choose a theme, set a default search results view, or select a reading program to feature on the Discover homepage, click here. Customizing these pages requires the Allow Follett Digital setup permission.

The Engage homepage layout includes:

• A homepage banner to feature a book club.
• An Achievements section with insights and badges.
• A Book Clubs carousel.

  Note: The Book Clubs carousel is automatically populated with the clubs a user has joined or been assigned to.

• Recommendation carousels.

  Note: Recommendation carousels are automatically populated based on the user's identified preferences and the title they last read.

Customize the homepage banner

Choose any open book club to feature on the homepage.

1. Go to Discover Admin.
2. Select Display Options > Featured Content.
3. At the bottom of the page, in the Home Page Banner section, select a club from the Featured Book Club drop-down.
   

   

   Note: If you do not want to show a banner, select None.

4. Click Save.
